Be careful dealing with these 'people' whom clam to "Support the little guys of the community" and "Youth in particular" They can put on a good show at the front desk and act like the people they claim to be but look closer.

I was sold a muffler for $89 (+taxes) which after talking with john I believed to be a fair and honest price and stupidly forked over $200 for a muffler and a couple feet of pipe without checking out the product as I usually always do. I later checked at two parts suppliers in P.G. only to find that the thrush welded muffler they sold me could be had anywhere else for under $45 and online (Summit, Jegs, Etc.) for $29.99 (about $35 with todays exchange rate).

After the repair was done and I was back home I noticed that they hadn't tossed my 'temporary' muffler that I used to get there with back in the truck. I went back the next day they were open only to find that they had thrown it out, a BRAND NEW muffler which I had nabbed from one of my other projects, So I'm out another $60 for another new muffler (from a respectable shop) and a 2ft piece of pipe. This I'll admit is partially my fault for not checking before I left but you'd think that if they remove a new muffler they would be sure to check if you wanted it back rather than tossing it...

Of course I wouldn't post this sort of experience without talking to the business about it first. Just last week when my new $90 muffler started falling apart after only 1400 km I went back to get it replaced (which they DID do quickly and without question) I asked 'the boss' on duty about the muffler and how it is available everywhere I checked for less than half the cost they sold it to me for.

Now I know he could hear me, In fact I was barely 2 feet from him and we were talking about the muffler in question and how they "sell a LOT of those mufflers" but when I posed the question he seemed to not hear me. I mentioned it another TWO times and 'the boss' didnt even glance up from the sales flier he was reading, didnt try to redeem themselves or even make up some sort of excuse for the almost 110% mark up over for example lordco @ $43. He just put away his flier and went into the shop to check on my truck without saying a single word.

One more thing that bothered me about their service is the fact that their website boasts being "of the few shops that specializes in complete custom exhaust systems" yet when I asked them about doing a custom exhaust on one of my other vehicles their "knowledgeable and creative installers" basically told me I was retarded and it was pointless doing anything bigger than factory sized exhaust on my car. Which didn't quite strike me as people that "enjoy the work they do"

Most of their business may come from customers referrals but this is one customer that will NEVER give another penny to them again and will be letting anyone looking for exhaust repair Know how I was treated and cheated by them.
