South Fraser Container Services (2005) Ltd is an export oriented reload and transportation company offering container reload / transload and transportation services in Metro Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. With three yards in Delta (two of which operate day and afternoon shifts) and our own fleet of trucks we are able to service all four of the Major container terminals in Metro Vancouver. We have the ability to receive cargo by road, rail (BNSF: two yards) and by barge (break bulk on our own barge slip). The cargo we load for export originates on Vancouver Island, Mainland British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Inventory and export documentation is managed through our LISA computerised inventory system. We also do transloading on import and some domestic cargo. In addition to the above SFCS provide a “rubber tired” barge service between Nanaimo (serving all of Vancouver Island) and Tilbury Island in Delta (serving Metro Vancouver and the Mainland). This "rubber tire" service covers the movement of import, export and domestic containers, B trains, Flat decks and Vans. This ever growing service is predicated on using the shoulder services of Seaspans barge and Ferry service. To enhance the Barge Service South Fraser Container Services (2005) Ltd offers a tractor service to carriers not having tractors either in the Mainland or on Vancouver Island. In either case SFCS (or one of our partners) will pick up or deliver your load on your behalf (in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley) without the client ever being aware it was not your truck performing the move. SFCS also offers some Logistics / Transportation services to complement and enhance your supply chain including reload / transload services for cargoes of all types.
